STEM to STEAM: Using the Arts to Enhance Student Learning

In the growing STEM to STEAM initiative, some feel the Arts are being shoved in with Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math as a way to promote a shrinking curricula. However, "the Arts" can be characterized as ANY approach that creatively expresses an idea.  As iPads and apps increase our access to a variety of mediums, as do the possibities for demonstrating student learning. Come learn a vareity of examples of the arts in STEM classrooms and some useful resources to take back to your classroom to increase engagement and student creativity.
