iPad Invasion in the Middle School Science Classroom

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

iPads are invading science classrooms. In this workshop, you will experience innovative lessons that incorporate iPads into middle school curriculum science courses. During the session, you will learn how iPads provide an easy platform for differentiating lessons and witness how student engagement increases when iPads are used. We will provide a list of apps and lessons on a variety of science topics that we’ve used throughout our classrooms. Our experience is within a science classroom, but many of the apps we use have broad spectrum applications and can be easily adapted to any subject area. Come and share what we have learned through the introduction of iPads into our courses through our iPad pilot program. Leave with actual lesson ideas that you can implement immediately! ShowMe, Socrative, iMovies, Keynotes, and more are featured in the lesson ideas that we will bring to the session. Let us share some of our successes with you.
