Get your students creating dynamic multimedia projects with iPads! In this session, we will use several creation apps and explore how they can be app-smashed to increase student creativity and address Common Core State Standards.
The session will begin with an overview of Tellagami, Green Screen, and iMovie and how the three can be used in concert to create dynamic video projects. Examples will be shown, and participants will share ways in which students could use these three apps together in the classroom in order to address Common Core standards.
There will be a brief demonstration of each app and how to create in one app, save to the camera roll, and use the creation in the other apps. Participants will then have the opportunity to practice creating an original project using Tellagami, Green Screen, iMovie and other creation apps in this session. Depending on the audience, other apps such as Skitch, Explain Everything/Educreations, and Keynote may also be introduced as apps that can be used to create multimedia projects.
Last, participants will have the opportunity to share their creations with others and to debrief on the experience. We will create a collaborative document with potential possibilities of using these apps with students.
