Tonka Teacher Talks: A Best Practice Showcase from Five Secondary 1:1 iPad Teachers

This breakout session will feature five Minnetonka, Minnesota, 1:1 iPad secondary teachers sharing their best practices, favorite ideas, and tips for iPad integration in their curricular area for ten minutes each: Middle & High School Science, Art, Math, and Social Studies.
Minnetonka is a suburban school district near Minneapolis with 10,000 students in the fourth year of a 1:1 iPad program. All 4,500 students in grades 7-12 are issued an iPad. The program uses digital curriculum materials, student collaboration tools, and individualized instruction in all subject areas with the goal of enhancing student learning.
