Creating Student Tech Teams To Support an iPad Implementation

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

The Star Tech program in Encinitas was created to leverage the already enormous resource of student experts to support teachers and other students at the school level. Star Tech students receive training and are certified on a variety of creative and productive iPad apps so that they can support classroom instruction. They also are available for one-on-one support for teachers after school and produce video tutorials on using different functions of the district adopted apps.

This session will share how to get a program started at the elementary school level, select students to participate, run a training program, and implement the program. Star Tech students from Encinitas and their teacher advisors will present how the program is making a difference at their school sites in increasing the usage of both creative and productivity apps for learning.
