Gather expertise and confidence to support students as they create original stop-motion animations with an intuitive iPad app called myCreate. See examples of student work, learn how to use the app, and make your own animation related to the curriculum that you teach. This iPad app is the perfect tool to engage students in hands-on, imaginative, and creative learning so that they can demonstrate their understanding of academic content in every subject area. Students use materials, such as legos, playdough, and pipe cleaners, to share their story. They then use the built-in camera to capture a series of photos of their artwork and add narration. Please download the free version of myCreate prior to this workshop. You will leave this session ready and excited to lead this type of project in your own classroom!
