A team of 4 teachers at 'Iolani will share their transformation journey that engages and inspires student learning. Kindergarten teachers, Kristi Kai and Lauree Sakaida, and third grade teachers, Addie Kim and Susan Maeda, have taught in public and private schools for more than 15 years before teaching at 'Iolani. These veteran teachers bring a multitude of experiences, training, and passion to their classroom everyday and continuously strive to empower the 21st century learners.
